Abstract
This paper proposes a novel linear transceiver design using lattice reduction algorithms. We propose a novel transceiver optimization problem that aims to minimize the sum of mean square errors (MSEs) of information symbols in a lattice-reduced domain. To alleviate the high complexity of solving the optimization problem, we devise an alternating algorithm to find a sub-optimal solution with low complexity. Since the optimized sum of MSEs of the information symbols in the lattice-reduced domain is smaller than that of information symbols, the proposed design achieves better error performance. Simulations are conducted to validate the superior performance of the proposed design.
