Abstract :
The general-purpose remote monitoring system for preventive maintenance is introduced based on the results of investigation and discussion of maintenance records. Only three measurement functions-voltage measurement, measurement of the number of pulses, and measurement of the pulse width-are sufficient as the basic functions of the general-purpose remote monitoring system. As determination criteria in the monitoring device four output items are assigned as basic functions. The output items are also transferred to the server of the manufacturer via the Internet. Using these circumstances high-level analytical diagnosis for preventive maintenance can be incorporated.
