Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrate the use of regularization methods to enhance the performance of a low resolution optical channel monitor. OSNR monitoring errors are within 0.9 dB on 50 GHz spaced 10 Gb/s channels when using a 35 GHz scanning filter.
