Abstract :
The problem of robustness analysis of uncertain linear systems with guaranteed cost control is considered. The uncertainty is assumed to enter into both the state and input matrices. Some robustness bounds for unstructured and structured uncertain systems using guaranteed cost control synthesis are presented. In addition, a robustification procedure by solving an optimization problem for structured uncertain systems is proposed. Comparisons with previous results in the context of guaranteed cost control are presented, and numerical example to illustrate the use of the proposed method is also given
