Abstract :
This paper describes a volume balanced MIC (microwave integrated circuit) active multiplier. The circuit uses a microstrip line, a balun consisting of balanced suspended transmission lines and a coplanar waveguide on both sides of the substrate. The multipliers have been designed at the 17 GHz and fabricated on a soft substrate, and good performance has been achieved.
