  • Abstract
    A digital beamforming differential space-time block modulator (DBF-DSTM) scheme used in air-ground communication is proposed in this paper. By using DBF other interferences caused by other airplanes can be cancelled because of different directions of arrival (DOAs). Corresponding adaptive beamforming algorithm is also proposed for this system to decrease the influence of other airplanes´ interferences. Simulation results proved that the beam pattern created by the adaptive algorithm can form nulls toward interferers, and BER performance can be improved greatly. It is shown that, in the class of aeronautical channel model this scheme has a good performance.
