Abstract :
It is presented a new method to control brushless micromotors which eliminates freewheeling currents. To test the method, a new driver has been designed and fabricated in a 0.35 ¿m standard CMOS process. It is shown in the paper how the driver is effectively reducing the freewheeling currents.
