Abstract
Reliability is of extreme importance in many control systems. Maintaining stability and some semblance of performance in the event of sensor, actuator, or processor outage can mean the difference between life and death in some situations. A design methodolgy is presented which provides for possible failures in a constrained structure control setting. This is investigated in continuous-time
