  • Abstract
    A modeling method of troposcatter channel and maximal-ratio combining (MRC) were analyzed by Matlab. Based on the theory of sum of sinusoids (SOS), a kind of Rayleigh channel simulation model is established, and the corresponding distributing behaviors of troposcatter channel are gotten. On the basis of channel model, the channel correlation is discussed, and the bit error rate expression of MRC combing with k-branch diversity is deduced fast in correlated channel. The bit error rate succinct formula of 2-branch correlated channel MRC is deduced by the behaviors of complementary error functions. Simulation results show that the introduced method not only feasibility but also is easy to realize, and it can efficient evaluate the performance of diversity reception system.
