  • Abstract
In this paper we present the performance analysis of a binary transmission on a Rayleigh fast fading channel in the presence of intersymbol interference and a mixture of Gaussian and impulsive noises. The impulsive noise is modeled as an alpha-stable process. The average probability of error is derived based on the characteristic functions of the noise random variables.
