Abstract
A modified WDM optical interface with the capability to enable OADM functionality as well as delivering uplink optical carrier to the base stations of millimeter-wave fibre- radio systems is proposed and demonstrated. The incorporation of the modification enhances the performance of both uplink and downlink transmission significantly.
