Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.
The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org.
Directed at getting the lower-side-lobe pattern, this paper starts with the genetic algorithm models of the 16 elements linear array antennas and the 32times32 elements planar array antennas, the synthesizes of the two array antennas patterns and the comparisons of the genetic algorithm and Chebyshev, Taylor classical methods by emulation results. The results of the comparisons show that the first side-lobe level of the optimization pattern using the genetic algorithm reaches at -40 dB and the optimization efficiency is higher than the conventional methods. The synthesis procedure holds the technology supports to the applications of the array antennas using genetic algorithm.
