Abstract :
In this paper, ZVS resonant DC-link inverter using soft switching boost converter is proposed. In the resonant inverter consisted of converter stage and inverter stage, converter stage switches S1, S2 are turned on and off with zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) and zero-current-switching (ZCS), and inverter stage switches S3, S4, S5, S6 and S7, are turned on and off with ZVS. As a result, the proposed circuit can reduce the switching loss. Operational principles and detailed analysis are presented. Simulation results indicate that the switches of the proposed resonant inverter are operated under the ZVS condition.
