  • Abstract
Thickness is one of useful parameters in analyzing object morphology and shape. This paper is concerned with a method for quantifying thickness of a 3D fuzzy object using fuzzy distance transform (FDT). In this way, thickness is obtained by analyzing FDT values along the medial axis which was generated by a desirable skeleton algorithm described in [1].
