Abstract :
Based on 18 stations of the Asia-Pacific region, satellite visibility, DOP, availability, positioning accuracy and reliability of COMPASS are calculated and analyzed in detail. Simulation results reveal that the constellation performances, such as satellite visibility, DOP, availability, positioning accuracy and reliability of COMPASS are good under low mask angle such as 10 degrees, but the performances of constellation have a trend of becoming bad with the increase of mask angle, especially in the middle high latitudes, the performance of constellation drops quickly, for the Asia-Pacific region. Some methods, such as integrated navigation system, differential positioning technology, and et. al are discussed to enhance the performance of constellation.
