Abstract :
Transmission coefficients of radiowaves trough different building materials in the 5.8 GHz frequency band have been obtained. Several samples of each material have been measured, showing that using just a single sample is not enough to characterise the transmission coefficient. It has also been found that some obstacles have a polarisation dependent behaviour.
