Abstract :
The demand for flexible electric energy will continue to drive the use of solid-state electronic devices. These electronic devices have safe operating ranges which are not always compatible with the electric energy distribution system operation. Equipment shutdown can be avoided if this compatibility is considered during the purchase process. An equipment shutdown case study is presented.
