Abstract
Aiming at handling transmission reliability of wireless sensor network with communication delay, this paper deigns a hybrid ARQ/probability transmission control strategy and applies it to a multi-hop network. Based on greedy algorithm the strategy defines a node selection mechanism considering network delay and nodes´ residual energy to form a linear transmission path from source node to sink node. IEEE 802.15.4 communication standard is employed in the simulation experiments, the result shows the hybrid mechanism is better in reducing energy consumption, decreasing delay and improving reliability than traditional ARQ acknowledgment mechanism.
