  • Abstract
    Failures of components can interact with each other in many systems. Considering the limitation of the traditional failure mode and effect analysis in interactive failure between components, a net failure mode and effect analysis with a mathematical model is proposed and applied to Gyroscopes. Hazard form and components model are presented while interactive failure rate and influence coefficient are calculated. Two ways of improving system reliability are proposed.
