  • Abstract
    Chemical industry park development has become an inevitable trend. However, due to the high density of numerous enterprises and workers, it easily leads to mass death, casualty and domino effects in case of any accidents, so the quantitative area risk assessment (QARA) and safety planning are particularly important. Taking a chemical industry park as an example and based on the current research, this paper conducts quantitative risk assessment with CASSTQRA software to work out the integrated individual risk contour distribution and social risk capacity curve and proposes a safety planning combining with an acceptable risk criterion to ensure the safety and long-term development of the park.
