Abstract
The proposed LXI (LAN extensions for instrumentation) specification defines a rich collection of capabilities that allow LAN-connected instruments to perform sophisticated test and measurement functions. This paper describes a prototype test system that demonstrates the power and flexibility of combining LXI with embedded test script processing. It demonstrates the use of LXI LAN triggering and other LXI features; it also includes performance data and optimization tips
