Abstract :
Remote monitoring and automatic navigation control system was developed for agricultural vehicles based on WLAN. The whole System is mainly made up of vehicle navigation control system, communication server and vehicle monitoring center. In the monitoring center, the position of the monitored tractor can be directly displayed using GIS map. The communication server can transmit data from vehicle navigation control system. Monitoring center can monitor several tractors simultaneously. Communication between the tractor and the remote monitoring system in laboratory is realized through wireless local area network. RTK-GPS, digital compass, and angle sensor were equipped to survey the position and posture of the agricultural vehicle. Fuzzy control is used for steering control. At last, the arithmetic of line tracking for automatic navigation vehicle is provided, so that the vehicle can track line path.
