Abstract :
To understand the quality of life of hyperthyroidism patients and put forward to corresponding suggestions, Measure the quality of life of 342 hyperthyroidism patients and 197 healthy individuals as control was surveyed by adopting Short-Form 36-item survey (SF-36). The quality of life of hyperthyroidism patients was poorer than that of the general population in eight different fields scores of the SF-36 (p <; 0.001). As for physiologic health, physical functioning is the lowest for 35.94±24.58. As for mental health, mental health is the lowest for 38.10±13.26; As for the quality of life, there was statistical significance among hyperthyroidism patients of different age, sex, income, regions and dietary habits (P<;0.05). There is a low score on mental health of hyperthyroidism patients. Therefore, doctors should pay further attention to psychological states besides physical conditions in allusion to different age and sex and so on.
