Abstract
Consistent regimented instruction is essential in training new Automated Test Equipment (ATE) operators. This paper focuses on problems faced in training new United States Marine Corps (USMC) military and civilian users to run the Third Echelon Test System (TETS) Application Program Sets (APSs). It introduces and describes a system currently being developed by the Automated Test Equipment Program (ATEP) in Albany, Georgia. The system is known as the TETS APS Training System (TATS). This paper describes how the TATS addresses current deficiencies with TETS APS training, and outlines how the TATS will play a key role in future TETS APS training
