Abstract
A large-orbit side-cathode is considered for the microwave oscillator in this paper. A theoretical analysis is made of oscillator energy characteristics when shortening the operating wavelength. It is shown that this particular device offers considerable promise as a tool for the research and development work in short-wave band technology
