Abstract
The theoretical and experimental analysis of open resonator (OR) with the reflecting diffraction comb grating has been presented. The resonator studied has excitation where is practically close to the monofrequency operating mode. The trend for a realization of millimeter wave oscillation systems with a single resonance response in a wide frequency region, follows from many applied problems, such as a spectroscopy, radio measurement, and mm wave generation. The using of the additional dispersive element in OR is a dominant way of the spectrum rarefaction. For this purpose the reflective diffraction grating are most widely used
