Abstract :
An efficient integral numerical method based on the hybrid mode formulation in conjunction with an adequate choice of trial functions is presented for describe the influence of shielding effect in unilateral asymmetric coplanar waveguide with respect to the dispersion parameters. This asymmetric microwave structure can support two different modes of propagation defined by C-mode and pi-mode. The formalism of mathematical operators is used to simplify the resolution of the boundary problems leading to a homogeneous equations system. The resolution of this system permits to deduce propagation characteristics. The obtained results have been validated with a good precision compared with those in scientific literature.
