The elder diet investigation and analysis of elderly apartments in Shandong province

The purpose of this paper was to know the elderly diet and nutritional status of elderly apartments in Shandong province, then give some suggestions for improvement. The method of investigation was a continuous 3-day bookkeeping meanwhile conbing the retrospection, which lasts 2 months in 45 apartments of six regions (effective 38), Shandong province. The results is as follows: the composition of diet and nutritional status are all unreasonable in elderly apartments of Shandong province, which is urgent for nutrition improvement. So it is necessary to suggest governments at all levels and relevant departments to take some measures for improvement of diet and nutrition of elderly apartments, and promote their health.
