Abstract :
This paper presents an optimized design for the Wilson and improved Wilson MOS current mirrors. The paper includes a detailed analysis of the high-frequency behaviour of the Wilson and improved Wilson MOS current mirrors, which shows a current transfer function with two poles and one zero. The optimized designs leads to a response which is better than that of the simple current mirror. The proposed design is verified with Spice simulation of the current mirror in a CMOS 2-μm technology
