Abstract
Numerical results have been performed on proposed caustic feed cylindrical reflector antennas and show that this type of antenna is very promising for operation in the frequency range from VHF to the end of the SHF frequency range. The caustic feed cylindrical reflector antenna is shown to be simple in construction and has good radiation characteristics comparable with other known antennas in the same frequency band.
