Abstract
We propose a closed form transfer function of analog low-pass filters with monotonic response and arbitrary flatness characteristics, which contains the transfer functions of the Butterworth filter and the L filter. Furthermore, the proposed transfer function can be easily realized because of its closed form regardless of even or odd orders
