Abstract :
This paper presents the design and test of a three stage monolithic low noise feedback amplifier for X-band. The circuit was designed with a standard 0.5 μm GaAs MESFET technology and the total area of integration is 2 mm2. A noise figure of 3.5 dB with a gain of 15 dB has been achieved from 10 GHz to well as input and output reflection better than -10 dB. The LNA draws 27 mA from a 5 V power supply
