    A theoretical and testing research is put forward for fitful halt of disengaging rod system in a weapon launch pad in this paper. The equivalent dynamics model of disengaging rod system is established. The dynamics characteristic of the system is analyzed using quasi-static method. Test and measurement for disengaging rod system is carried out. The analysis result for the reason of fitful halt of disengaging rod system is validated. Finally, the technical method for reducing swing amplitude of fitful halt is presented.
