Abstract :
In order to improve the flexibility of substation simulation system, the conversion of the scene graph of substation from two-dimensional to three-dimensional is constructed and a system which generates three-dimensional substation simulation scenes automatically is implemented. The framework of the system is composed of the two-dimensional scene graph generating module, the three-dimensional modeling module and the three-dimensional scene generating module. Establishments of the two-dimensional entity library and the two-dimensional image library are convenient for organizing substation equipments. By using the modeling tools, equipments and surrounding environment of substation are built. Through a scene driving engine, the conversion from the two-dimensional scene graph to the three-dimensional scene graph is realized, and the rendering of the simulation scene is implemented. The three-dimensional simulation scenes of substations can be easily and rapidly generated by using the generating system which can also avoid a great deal of repetitive work. The system is of practical significance to the customization of three-dimensional substation simulation scene.
