Abstract :
In this paper we summarise the necessary properties that a nullor conceived to be a universal active device, must have. This approach lead us to propose a practical implementation of a nullor, consisting of a four terminal, fully floating transconductor with high gain. These design conditions are validated with some unconventional applications
