Abstract :
Realization of frequency-controlled generators and frequency synthesizers in short wavelength frequency range are carried out for solving problems of electromagnetic metrology and laser frequency stabilization. The report presents results that have been obtained recently. For the development of microwave radiation sources and microwave synthesizers, the main tasks were achieving guaranteed frequency stability which was provided by quantum frequency standards (10-12... 10-13), spectral purity, assurance of required velocity of rearrangements and discreteness
