Abstract
Many companies seem to underestimate the activities needed to be compliant with their data processing systems for the Year 2000. This paper describes the issue, the challenges in regard to technology, to quantity, to unknown risks and the challenge to manage all activities. Finally, possible approaches are described to address these challenges
