Abstract
The quantization noise of a single-bit double-loop sigma-delta modulator (SDM) is considered in this paper. A closed-form solution of the quantization noise of SDM is obtained for DC and sinusoidal inputs in a non-overloading condition. An open-loop model is developed and the quantization noise spectrum (QNS) of SDM for a sinusoidal input is determined. It is also shown that the QNS in this SDM depends on sin function
