  • Abstract
    To investigate the effects of Tiscrazy Aroma Concord Parfum (TACP) on autonomous nervous system and job stress. 45 nurses (22±3 years old) were randomly allocated to three groups: a TACP group, a perfume control group, and a saline control group. The coherence scores of each participant in heart rate variability (HRV) determination were recorded were collected before and 20 min after the intervention at the first day of the trial. Saliva samples were collected before, 20 min after the intervention and at the 15th day. The levels of salivary chromogranin A (sCgA) were analyzed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. In the TACP group, the average scores increased significantly after the 20min usage(P<;0.05), and the average levels of sCgA at the 15th day were significantly lower than pre-test (P<;0.01). No significant changes were recorded in both perfume and saline control group. The TACP promotes a psychophysiological state conducive to stress reduction.
