Abstract
Reconfigurable computing augments general purpose processors with reprogrammable hardware. This allows custom hardware to be added to accelerate critical functions. This paper presents a method for designing image processing applications using reconfigurable computing. In particular, the technique of constant propagation is considered, and three different methods for handling the partial reconfiguration required to deal with constant propagation at run-time are compared
