Abstract
This paper proposes a secure and efficient clustering (SEC) model for wireless sensor networks with the topologies change via pre-distributed key and authentication approaches. This model also presents a hierarchical and on-demand cluster maintaining method in the clustered wireless sensor networks, guaranteeing that the network can identify and get rid of malicious nodes, achieve cluster-range self-management based on the random and parallel cluster header election algorithm and pre-distributed key scheme. An integrated solution is built to realize efficient management, energy saving and information security for wireless sensor network, simulation results show that the proposed model is promising in terms of networking security, efficiency and adaptability.
