Abstract :
This paper is focusing upon some aspects on designing of an innovation of pulse signal processing system. Traditional pulse signal waveform and spectroscopy analysis system amplified signal and stretched peak using analog method. Those systems suffered from jamming easily and being kept instable. The system employed in the paper obtains the compressed waveform in time domain and the energy spectrum of the pulse signal utilizing digital signal processing method, which is sampled with high speed and resolution ADC. The information acquired by the system, showed in the remote controlling centre by the virtual instrument panel, is transmitted to remote controlling centre by high speed IEEE1394A industrial bus, the transmission distance being 72 metres. The system processes the acquired data by high speed FPGA and transmits the ones by high speed IEEE1394A industrial bus, which solves the contradiction between high throughput and high energy resolution in pulse processing system, whereupon the function of virtual oscilloscope and energy spectroscopy analysis device is implemented. The field trial has demonstrated that it is feasible and rich in value of research.
