Abstract
This paper describes the design of special filters which reduce the undesired broadband spurious spectrum by 40 to 80 dB in a large frequency band, up to the fourth harmonic of the MW transmitter carrier frequency. The insertion losses in the transmitter passband are less than 0.3 dB. The physical dimensions and weight of the proposal filters are significantly less than for conventional transmitters. The performances of the designed filters are discussed and suggestions for future improvements presented
