Abstract :
In order to improve the efficiency of cold test for diesel engine product line, a mathematic model of six-cylinder diesel engine has been developed. The model is based on thermodynamic theory and dynamics mechanism, including valve actuating mechanism part which is an important part of cold test. The simulation of this model, implemented on Matlab/Simulink, includes system simulation and fault simulation. It is shown that the mathematic model of six-cylinder engine for cold test proves its importance for improving cold test technology.
