Abstract
Single-stage power-factor-corrected (S PFC) converters usually suffer from high voltage stress due to lacking intermediate bus voltage control. In this paper, a hysteresis controller for S2PFC converters to study the effect on voltage stress is introduced. Detailed analysis on circuit and control parameters under change of input line voltage and output load is presented. It is found that the voltage stress can be controlled by the inductance ratio and, for the first time, the output current ripple. Simulation results are reported to verify the circuit analysis.
