Abstract
A concept has been developed and realized to accelerate vertically polarized protons in the Cooler Synchrotron COSY at the Forschungszentrum Julich up to the maximum momentum of 3300 MeV/c. In addition, different Siberian snake schemes for COSY have been investigated to deliver a longitudinally polarized beam
