  • Abstract
    The output power of wind farms is obviously influenced by wind resource, which has the characteristics of randomness, volatility and intermittency. In order to compensate the fluctuation of wind farms output and meet the hot standby capacity demand of the power grid with wind power integration, a calculation method of the wind power acceptance ability of power grid is proposed in this paper, which takes the power grid reserve capacity, the maximum variation rate of wind power output and maximum generation power loads and other influential factors into consideration. The proposed calculation method can quickly work out the wind power acceptance ability of power grid.
