  • Abstract
    According to the requirements of water-jet cutting process, the paper has designed the two-dimensional water-jet cutting system based on phased intensifier as well as open numerical control system, and it also has introduced the hardware structure and working principle of this cutting system and phased intensifier; meanwhile, the authors have designed the cutting head automatic height adjustment system based on the eddy current type transducer. Furthermore, they have introduced the determination methods of cutting speed. The phased intensifier employs a constant pressure variable capacity pump as the providing power, which makes the compressed air to push piston back, and the control working sequence of two pistons is finished by a PLC. By that way, the structure of mechanism and control system are simplified. It is practically proved that this system work stably, with good cutting quality and high production efficiency.
