Abstract :
To solve the problem it is difficult to estimate the time-varying TDOA (time difference of arrival) and FDOA (frequency difference of arrival) resulted from the movement parameters of a moving target in Dual-satellites and Tri-satellites Geo-location systems. This paper focused on the joint estimation of the TDOA and FDOA of signals received from the geostationary satellites, building the expressions of the signals by analyzing characteristic of the variation of the radial distance difference, researching the influences to the envelope and carrier frequency of signals caused by the velocity and acceleration of a moving target. In the end, a novel estimation method is given which is via suppressing the influence of movement parameters and improving the performance of the CAF (Cross Ambiguity Function). The simulation results show it can eliminate the effects of movement parameters effectively and estimate the location parameters accurately.
