  • Abstract
    To improve the economic and environmental friendliness of the Microgrid (MG), this paper presents a comprehensive model to determine the distributed generation (DG) optimum output power, which can be formulated as a high-dimensional nonlinear constrained “black box” optimization problem. Pattern Search (PS)-an effective optimization algorithm is introduced to solve this optimization problem. Simulations are performed on the IEEE 13-node test feeder with various load profile, and comparisons are performed with other existing mature algorithms, the results have demonstrated the efficiency of the proposed approach.
